Jennifer was immensely helpful to our family during the postpartum period. I felt immediately comfortable trusting her to care for our baby, which allowed me to get much-needed rest and finally catch up on priorities I hadn’t been able to manage otherwise. She also helped with meal prep and tidying up — and never needed to be asked. She instinctively knew what to do and stepped in seamlessly wherever support was needed. Jennifer also provided amazing sleep guidance, including helping us successfully transition our baby out of the swaddle and sharing practical, confidence-boosting tips that truly worked for our family. Having Jennifer’s support completely transformed my postpartum experience compared to the first time, when I didn’t have doula support. As a bonus, she was incredibly kind, patient, and gracious with my older toddler, who was navigating her own transition and wanting attention! - M

With a deep-rooted love for nurturing others and years of hands-on experience in a large family, I bring warmth, wisdom, and heartfelt care to my work as a postpartum doula. I’ve spent much of my life surrounded by babies and supporting many women through the tender weeks after birth, but it was my own experience with postpartum struggles that truly called me to this work. I know firsthand how lonely and overwhelming the early days can be, and I’m passionate about ensuring that new mothers feel seen, heard, and supported. I have a special interest in mental health and research shows that caring for a new parent’s emotional well-being is just as important as caring for their physical recovery. I believe in creating a calm, grounded environment for families and their newest little ones. My goal is to help parents recover, reconnect, and rise with confidence during one of the most transformative times of their lives.

I am a profoundly empathetic, nurturing person by nature. People often tell me I have a calming presence, and I’ve learned that sometimes the most powerful support comes not from doing, but simply being—being present, being patient, being a steady hand and a kind heart when someone needs it most. I’m also a natural listener and love learning about people.

Before becoming a doula, I was a professional beekeeper and professional photographer—roles that taught me patience, attentiveness, and the beauty of holding space for life to unfold.

When I’m not supporting new families, I’m soaking up life with my husband and two kids or spending quality time with friends. I feel most alive outdoors—whether I’m hiking in the mountains, exploring nature or out walking and playing with my dog. I’m that person who has to stop and greet every dog I pass, I just can’t help myself! Movement is a big part of how I recharge, and I find peace and inspiration through exercise, music, and art.
