Heather was a tremendous source of knowledge, patience, guidance, and care after we took our newborn home from the hospital. She became like another member of our family. Not only did she allow me a few hours of consistent sleep through the night, she also spent an hour every evening answering our questions and assuaging our concerns. She is also a great cook whose food is perfect for recovering after childbirth. We are grateful to have worked with Heather and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a postpartum doula. - Julia Hawkins

My love for supporting families started over 25 years ago while helping my mom with her in-home child daycare. I loved becoming part of someone else’s family and being able to help them through all of the difficulties that come with raising a child. It wasn’t until after the birth of my son that I realized how exhausting, and challenging, motherhood could be. Especially when we had very little family nearby. My own experience of the postpartum period has inspired the loving, intentional support that I provide to families during such a transitional time. I found that having someone to rely on for all of the questions that pop up after baby was invaluable and I aim to be that person for every one of my clients. My goal is to continue that supportive relationship even after the postpartum period ends.

Motherhood does not have to be hard!! My goal as a postpartum doula is to help you navigate all of the challenges that come along with becoming a new parent. To answer any and all questions you may have and to give evidence based information and solutions. I want you to be the best parent you can be and I will support you in the decisions and steps you make to get there. When our time ends I want you to feel more than equipped to handle anything that might pop up but also know that my continued encouragement is only a phone call away!!

I am a CAPPA certified postpartum doula and currently completing training to be a new parent educator. I specialize in newborn care, lactation support, overnight support, sleep coaching, and cultivating physical and emotional wellness for new mothers. I find great joy in helping guide families through the struggles that can arise during the postpartum period, allowing you to focus on all of the joys that come along with a new baby.

In my free time you will find me enjoying the great outdoors with my two amazing kiddos, partner and our sweet pup Lyla. I also enjoy cross-stitching and reading when I have the time!! I really look forward to connecting and the opportunity to support you and your growing family.
