“As a first time mom, I really had no idea what to expect in my first few weeks postpartum. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Amanda as she is an incredibly special human being. Amanda was a wealth of knowledge and experience when it came to anything infant A to Z. One thing I loved most was her holistic approach to postpartum care. Amanda worked with us for a number of weeks. She felt like a part of the family. She offered so much vital lactation advice and support throughout my experience with breastfeeding. Everything from latching, pumping, positioning, and helping me create a state of peace and calm in my mind so I can deliver the best care to my baby. She also always helped me feel prepared with meals that supported lactation. She brought other amazing herbal remedies to help me heal postpartum. I could not have managed the first 1-2 months without her support. I would recommend Amanda to all my friends and family members in a heartbeat.” - AH

As a Full Spectrum Doula, Amanda is deeply passionate about helping clients create a safe, supportive space to process the birthing experience and prepare for their transition into parenthood. She believes postpartum care should be thoughtfully tailored to the unique needs of each birthing parent, honoring their individual experiences and circumstances while addressing the physical, emotional, and practical aspects of recovery and early parenting.

Amanda’s intention is to foster environments where both the birthing parent and baby can truly thrive. She is committed to holding space for slower, more intentional postpartum rhythms that allow for deep healing and connection, an approach that not only supports the immediate family but also contributes to a more grounded and resilient community. By empowering parents and providing compassionate, responsive support, Amanda helps families navigate this sacred transition with confidence and care.

In addition to her formal training and certifications, Amanda is a practitioner of Mexican Traditional Medicine and integrates ancestral practices into her work when welcomed by the family. This may include folk herbalism, ceremony, and traditional bodywork, rituals that have been passed down for generations to encourage profound physical and spiritual healing during the postpartum window.

With a trauma-informed lens, Amanda is dedicated to creating an inclusive, affirming space where all families feel safe to rest, heal, and grow.
She currently resides in Colorado with her partner and the five children they share between them. In her free time, Amanda enjoys engaging in her sacred practices, spending time in nature, writing, creating, traveling, and sharing life with loved ones, including her two sister cats, Leona and Isis.
